Title card. WERIGO SAGA CHAPTER 21: The Customer Who Never Came

PANEL 1. The last file from Chapter 20. Saved privately, never posted.

  • JULES: That is your voice. But you never said this.

PANEL 2.

  • ODY: Tomorrow, 19:47. Save the original. We check the person before the story.

PANEL 3. The next morning. The world has not ended. The inbox is still annoying.

  • BRAM: Coffee first. You have interrogated that phone since breakfast.

PANEL 4.

  • ODY: The phone has better attendance than my old staff.

PANEL 5. That morning. A new colleague, introduced by Pak Chan himself.

  • PAK CHAN · PHONE: Atum joins us as Head of Sales & Marketing National. Ody, work with him.

PANEL 6. Late thirties. Calm, measured, and more interested in listening than impressing.

  • PAK ATUM: Atum. Let me understand the customers before I change the slides.

PANEL 7. A real guest, an ordinary reservation, and a face from the impossible video.

  • MAYA: Maya. Photographer from Jakarta. I booked yesterday, not tomorrow.

PANEL 8.

  • ODY: Ody. Let us check your booking together. No rush.

PANEL 9.

  • DEWA · VOICEOVER: EdPower and Athena. Choose for your route and fit, not the photo.

PANEL 10.

  • JULES · VOICEOVER: Helmet, licence, battery and handover check. The same for every guest.

PANEL 11.

  • REMY: Her payment matches. Her ID matches. This reservation is real.

PANEL 12.

  • ODY: Then the video is the thing we question. Not her.

PANEL 13. Maya takes the morning she came for: a Sanur beachfront walk, salt air, and a camera without a deadline.

PANEL 14.

  • MAYA: I came here to slow down. My phone apparently came to work.

PANEL 15. Ody meets Maya at the warung after a nearby handover. One question, no sales pitch.

  • ODY: What nearly made you cancel?

PANEL 16.

  • MAYA: Not the price. I could not tell where to ask if I got stuck.

PANEL 17.

  • JULES · PHONE: The video just changed. Now she is reviewing a room she has not entered.

PANEL 18.

  • MAYA: That is my laugh. Why do I sound happier than I feel?

PANEL 19.

  • ARYA: The lamp repeats. The room stays identical in every clip.

PANEL 20.

  • JULES: No creator, no consent, no verified stay. It never goes on our account.

PANEL 21.

  • REMY · PHONE: Full bookings mean nothing if every rental loses money.
  • RECORD: ILLUSTRATION ONLY|Revenue 150,000 − partner 30,000 − operating 40,000 − reserve 20,000 = contribution 60,000.|Example figures, not Werigo rates.

PANEL 22.

  • ODY: And we count actual paid rental-days. Not the clicks.

PANEL 23.

  • PAK ATUM: Maya did not ask for a discount. She asked who would help her.

PANEL 24.

  • PAK ATUM: Reach brings enquiries. Clear answers build trust. A paid rental proves conversion.

PANEL 25.

  • ODY: One guesthouse. One week. Confirmed enquiries, paid rentals, actual costs.

PANEL 26.

  • REMY · PHONE: A small test we can afford to stop. That is a plan.

PANEL 27. Bale Sore is a fictional family guesthouse, not a real business.

  • RATIH · PHONE: Ibu Ratih, Bale Sore. I own the house. I never approved that video.

PANEL 28.

  • ODY: Maya has a room there tonight. Can you meet her at reception?

PANEL 29.

  • RATIH: Maya? Your room is upstairs. I will show you myself.

PANEL 30.

  • MAYA: That corridor… I have seen it already.

PANEL 31. The guesthouse has one stairway. Six rooms. The rear door opens into Ratih’s kitchen.

PANEL 32.

  • MAYA: Why does the mirror show sunrise? It is almost dark outside.

PANEL 33.

  • RATIH · PHONE: The room at the end? We sealed it after the old owner died.

PANEL 34.

  • MAYA: My bag is on my back. Why is there another one on that bed?

PANEL 35.

  • MAYA · PHONE: There is somebody in there using my voice.

PANEL 36.

  • ODY: Come downstairs. Leave the bag. Stay with Ibu Ratih.

PANEL 37.

  • JULES · PHONE: I keep the call open. Dewa and Komang meet us at the gate.

PANEL 38.

  • ODY: No one goes in alone. We tell Ratih exactly what we know.

PANEL 39.

  • REMY: Customer deposits stay separate. No spending them to make the night look profitable.

PANEL 40.

  • REMY: I handle bookings here. Close unavailable slots and notify the guests.

PANEL 41. The road to the house is ordinary. The team parks outside and goes in on foot.

PANEL 42.

  • DEWA · VOICEOVER: We walk from here. The problem is inside the house.

PANEL 43.

  • KOMANG: I brought a torch. And snacks. Fear burns calories.

PANEL 44.

  • DEWA: You watch the back door. I stay at reception with Ratih.

PANEL 45.

  • RATIH: I led her down. Then I heard her calling from upstairs again.

PANEL 46.

  • ARYA: Keep talking to her. We follow the live voice, not the recording.

PANEL 47.

  • MAYA: I came down those stairs three times. I keep coming back here.

PANEL 48.

  • ODY: Maya, look at me. What did you actually come to Bali for?

PANEL 49.

  • MAYA: One morning without somebody needing me.

PANEL 50.

  • THE ROOM · VOICEOVER: A perfect stay. Nobody needs you. Nobody remembers you.

PANEL 51.

  • ARYA: It did not invent a holiday. It stole what she wanted to hear.

PANEL 52.

  • ODY: Same trick as the copy. A promise without permission.

PANEL 53.

  • MAYA: My name is disappearing from my camera.

PANEL 54.

  • JULES · PHONE: I still have your booking. Maya. You are a real person, not its review.

PANEL 55.

  • ODY: We leave together. You do not owe this room a happy ending.

PANEL 56. The stairway folds into another corridor. The same lamp. The same door.

PANEL 57.

  • ARYA: That bright doorway is its invitation. Komang, is the kitchen still open?

PANEL 58.

  • KOMANG · PHONE: Open. I have the ugly blue door. Most beautiful door I ever saw.

PANEL 59. The mirror is rehearsing their escape. A perfect copy, one second ahead.

  • MAYA: That reflection is moving before we do.

PANEL 60. 19:47. The room has not trapped them in the house. It has copied the house around them.

  • RECORD: THE ROOM WITHOUT MORNING|Three people inside. A real door outside. Keep the call alive.

WERIGO SAGA is fiction. Its System, magical reflections and Bale Sore guesthouse are invented. The bikes, charging equipment and rental service are real. Always wear a helmet, ride within your licence and never ride through floodwater.
