PANEL 1. Monday. Seconds after the call from Ubud.
- JULES: It says completed. Paid. Collected at 19:47.
- DEWA: It is still morning. The bike has not moved.
PANEL 2.
- JULES: And there is no matching payment.
- SYSTEM: BOOKING HELD|No vehicle allocated. Evidence preserved.
Title card. WERIGO SAGA CHAPTER 20: The Name the Door Stole
PANEL 3.
- ODY: I am calling the manager back on the number we already used.
PANEL 4.
- ODY: She confirms: no launch, no guest referral, no payment.
- BRAM: Then do not accuse a guest who might not even exist.
Part 1. A PROMISE NEEDS PROOF
PANEL 5.
- JULES: Keep the original entry. Copy its history. Mark it disputed.
- DEWA: And no handover just because a screen says green.
PANEL 6.
- DEWA: Ody, come back safely. I will keep the office closed to walk-ins.
PANEL 7.
- GRANDMOTHER: The bell again. I am not opening the box alone.
PANEL 8. Later. Arya and Komang arrive after her call.
- ARYA: We are here, Nek. Ody knows we came.
- KOMANG: I brought food. My emergency plan has improved.
PANEL 9.
- ODY: Wedison gets us home. Panic does not get to choose the speed.
PANEL 10. Bram prepares his own ride. They call again only after parking.
- ODY: Battery checked. Route checked. We leave now.
PANEL 11.
- JULES: Please say something only the real Ody would say.
- ODY: Who approved this booking?
PANEL 12. Midday. Safely back at the office.
- BRAM: Authentic. Even the ghost would have asked whether we had eaten.
- ODY: Eat first. Then we fix the plan.
Part 2. THE COST OF PERFECT
PANEL 13.
- ODY: Remy, I asked you here to check the pilot numbers. Now we have a false booking too.
- REMY: Good. We will separate what happened from what the dashboard claims.
PANEL 14.
- REMY: A booking is not cash. Cash received is not automatically profit.
- ODY: Apparently, a signature is not automatically me either.
PANEL 15.
- ODY: Fictional exercise. Revenue 300 thousand, variable costs 180 thousand.
- BRAM: So 120 thousand profit?
- SYSTEM: ILLUSTRATION ONLY · NOT WERIGO RATES|Rp300,000 − Rp180,000 = Rp120,000
PANEL 16.
- ODY: Contribution. It still has to help cover fixed costs. Not net profit.
- BRAM: Even imaginary money has responsibilities.
PANEL 17.
- REMY: For this example, fixed costs are 1.2 million. At 120 thousand contribution each, break-even is ten rentals.
- SYSTEM: SIMPLIFIED EXAMPLE · SAME PERIOD|Rp1,200,000 ÷ Rp120,000 = 10 rentals
PANEL 18.
- ODY: A 60-thousand discount halves that contribution. Now twenty rentals?
- REMY: If those costs and capacity stay the same. More volume is not free.
PANEL 19.
- REMY: A refundable security deposit stays an obligation. Do not spend it as revenue.
- JULES: And money due next week cannot pay today’s delivery.
PANEL 20. A discrepancy to investigate. Not proof that a stranger is guilty.
- JULES: I have checked the payment reference and the independent account record. Still no match.
PANEL 21.
- BRAM: The manager did not ask for the cheapest bike. She asked who answers when arrival changes.
PANEL 22.
- ODY: That is the job: get the guest moving with a clear handover and someone reachable.
- BRAM: A promise the team can actually keep. That is worth marketing.
PANEL 23.
- ODY: One page: Ubud overnight guests, one partner, one booking contact, agreed hours.
- JULES: Capacity, costs, cash timing, and a stop rule go on the same page.
PANEL 24.
- DEWA: Two handovers per day is a ceiling, not a dare.
- JULES: I am writing that in very large letters.
PANEL 25.
- DEWA: Werigo handles the rental. Wedison supplies the electric motorcycle and its charging ecosystem.
PANEL 26. Official EdPower claim: SuperCharge 10–80% in 15 minutes. Check station availability before departure.
- DEWA: Show people where to charge and how to plan the trip. A feature only helps when they can use it.
PANEL 27.
- BRAM: Headline: NEVER GET STUCK IN BALI AGAIN!
- ODY: We rent motorcycles, Bram. We do not delete traffic.
PANEL 28.
- ODY: Show the real bike, the real handover, and a useful route. Ask permission before using guest photos.
- BRAM: Useful proof. Then one clear invitation to ask about availability.
PANEL 29.
- JULES: Track inquiries, qualified requests, completed paid rentals, and complaints. Likes cannot cover delivery.
- DEWA: And keep this fake booking out of the pilot results.
PANEL 30.
- JULES: Then why is someone asking us to count him as a happy customer… before he arrives?
Part 3. THE PERSON WHO WAITED
PANEL 31. Late afternoon. A call connects the courtyard and the office.
- GRANDMOTHER: The bell detail survived. We can view that fragment together. The key stays sealed.
PANEL 32.
- GRANDMOTHER: Only the bicycle memory. No passage, no exchange. Stop means stop.
- SYSTEM: LIMITED OBSERVATION|Three witnesses present. Others listen by phone.
PANEL 33. They are not going back. They are watching what was left behind.
PANEL 34. 1963. The memory before the missing road.
- GRANDMOTHER: My chain broke. He sent the others ahead and stayed with me.
PANEL 35.
- GRANDMOTHER: Everyone called him slow. He said arriving alone was not winning.
PANEL 36.
- GRANDMOTHER: I called him… Su…
- GRANDMOTHER: There is something after that. Something I do not want to remember.
PANEL 37.
- ARYA: You can stop. We are not trading you for an answer.
- KOMANG: We can stay even when there is no answer.
PANEL 38.
- ODY: A name is a clue. It is not permission to open the door.
- JULES: If it copies our records, it can learn what we just said too.
PANEL 39.
- JULES: Ody… please keep standing where I can see you.
Part 4. THE BEST CUSTOMER
PANEL 40. At the office. The door remains shut.
- COPY: Your best customer is here. Why are you making him wait?
PANEL 41.
- COPY: Open. You promised. Do you want everyone to hear how Werigo treats people?
PANEL 42.
- ODY: We check complaints. We do not skip verification because someone threatens us.
PANEL 43.
- JULES: It claims every slot is sold. No cancellations. No costs. No complaints.
- REMY: No costs? Our team is not imaginary.
PANEL 44.
- REMY: No payment match. No vehicle release. No partner approval. Three separate records disagree.
PANEL 45.
- COPY: I can fill the fleet. Every day. You will never have to disappoint anyone again.
- SYSTEM: OFFER|Replace the operator. Erase all unpaid obligations.
PANEL 46.
- BRAM: Read it to the end, Dy. Who disappears when the numbers turn perfect?
PANEL 47.
- JULES: The obligations disappear because the people owed them are removed from the record.
PANEL 48.
- ODY: That is not profit. That is making people disappear so the spreadsheet looks good.
Part 5. WHAT WE LEFT OUT
PANEL 49.
- GRANDMOTHER: He did not choose alone. I begged him to find us a way home.
PANEL 50. She is choosing to remember. Nobody asks her to pay with another person.
- GRANDMOTHER: I let his face take the blame. I hid my own part in it.
PANEL 51.
- ARYA: Nek! Hear us. You are here. We are staying.
- SYSTEM: RALLY|Hold together. Nobody takes another person’s place.
PANEL 52.
- KOMANG: The bright stairs are fake. The real floor is still under us.
PANEL 53.
- KOMANG: For once, the boring route is the best route. I hate that I am growing.
PANEL 54.
- ODY: Werigo stays ours to build, including the mistakes. I reject the replacement.
PANEL 55.
- COPY: Then keep your losses.
- ODY: And the people whose names belong in the books.
PANEL 56. The syllable returns with the memory she had avoided.
- GRANDMOTHER: Sura. I called him Sura.
PANEL 57.
- GRANDMOTHER: You waited for me. I can remember that without asking you to come back through this door.
- SYSTEM: WITNESS RECORD|Remembered name: Sura. Identity and fate still unverified.
PANEL 58. Remembering him does not mean accepting his replacement.
- GRANDMOTHER: We withdraw permission to view. The record closes. Nobody is invited through.
PANEL 59. 19:48. Both doors stayed shut.
- JULES: The fake entry is still there. Disputed. Nothing was paid or handed over.
- ODY: Good. We keep the evidence.
PANEL 60.
- KOMANG: For the record, I was very brave.
- GRANDMOTHER: For the record, you shouted louder than the bell.
Part 6. BUILD WHAT IS REAL
PANEL 61. Tuesday morning. The pilot remains a proposal.
- REMY: Four completed rentals can test the handover. They do not prove the business breaks even.
- ODY: Then service quality, contribution, and cash each get their own check.
PANEL 62.
- HOST: Send the responsibilities, costs and cancellation process. My team will review them.
- BRAM: A relationship is built after the introduction. That is the actual work.
PANEL 63.
- BRAM: No growth strategy until the coffee arrives.
- ODY: You turned breakfast into a policy.
PANEL 64. A short break near the office. No extra tour squeezed between handovers.
- ODY: I am keeping Sunday lunch with my church friends. The business cannot take every hour.
- BRAM: Good. Even a business plan needs space for its human.
PANEL 65.
- JULES: A real inquiry. Dates, route, availability. No reservation until we confirm.
- DEWA: One honest lead beats a hundred invented bookings.
PANEL 66.
- JULES: Then who sent the testimonial?
PANEL 67.
- JULES: It shows you welcoming a customer. Tomorrow.
- ODY: Do not publish it. Save the original file.
PANEL 68.
- ODY: We refused its booking. Now it is selling our story.
- SYSTEM: UNVERIFIED VIDEO|Recorded: TOMORROW · 19:47
Next chapter. CH.21 · The Customer Who Never Came
- QUESTION: Who is creating tomorrow’s happy customer before the rental even exists?
WERIGO SAGA is fiction. The System, the auras and the flood scenes are made up. The bikes, the charging and the rental service are real. Always wear a helmet, ride within your licence and never ride through floodwater.
