WERIGO SAGA Episode 4: The Second Awakening

COLD OPEN. The night after the raid. Black screen.

• SFX: TING.
• SYSTEM (blue): ! AWAKENING TRIAL · Report to the guild hall. Tomorrow, 07:00.

PANEL 1. Komang's garage. He sits by his late father's rusty petrol bike, the blue window glowing beside him.

• KOMANG (thought): The guild? What guild?!

PANEL 2. Close-up. His old phone lights up by itself: a blue map with one pin.

• KOMANG: ...Why does my phone know where it is?
• SFX: PING

Title card. EPISODE 4 · THE SECOND AWAKENING.

• CAPTION: Saturday. 6:58 AM. Canggu.

PANEL 3. Wide. A clean shophouse with the Werigo logo. Rows of Wedison Athena (olive, yellow, white) and Victory (black, red), helmets on the shelf. Komang outside on his rusty bike, jaw dropped.

• KOMANG (thought): This is... a rental shop?

PANEL 4. Arya walks out in a green crew shirt, a clean helmet in each hand.

• KOMANG (shouting): Arya?! You work here?!
• ARYA: Since Tuesday.

PANEL 5. Extreme close-up. Komang, pure shock.

• KOMANG (shouting): Tuesday?! And you didn't tell me?!

PANEL 6. Dewa leans on the counter with a Bali coffee. Behind him Sekar wipes the inside of a helmet.

• DEWA: Every guild needs a day job. Ours is called Werigo.
• SYSTEM: [GUILD HALL: WERIGO · CANGGU]

PANEL 7. Close-up. Sekar, amused.

• SEKAR: Half our guests come straight from the petrol queue. You know the look.
• KOMANG: ...I am the look.

PANEL 8. Over the shoulder. A blue window floats in front of Komang, the Werigo fleet behind it.

• SYSTEM (blue): ! AWAKENING TRIAL · Deliver 3 rentals before 10:00. Guild standard: battery 80%+ · 2 clean helmets · phone holder on · brief the guest. Failure: stay a candidate.
• KOMANG: Easy. I've been riding since I was twelve.
• SEKAR: Riding, yes. Delivering properly, no.

PANEL 9. Checklist montage, four small panels.

• (a) The real Wedison EdPower TFT shows 82%. SYSTEM: [BATTERY: 82% ✓]
• (b) A phone holder snapped onto the handlebar. SFX: KLIK! SYSTEM: [PHONE HOLDER: ON ✓]
• (c) Komang wipes two helmets. SEKAR: "Inside too." KOMANG: "...Inside too." SYSTEM: [HELMETS: 2 / 2 ✓]
• (d) Komang memorises the briefing card, sweating. SYSTEM: [BRIEFING: MEMORISED ✓]

PANEL 10. Komang rides out on a white Bees and leans, by habit, toward the petrol station queue. Arya on his olive Athena points the other way.

• ARYA: Wrong way.
• KOMANG (inset, sheepish grin): ...Habit.

PANEL 11. Delivery 1. A backpacker at a Canggu homestay gets the white Bees.

• KOMANG: It's quiet, so people won't hear you coming. Tap the horn at corners.
• BACKPACKER: Quiet is good. My last bike woke up the whole street.
• SYSTEM: [RENTALS: 1 / 3]

PANEL 12. Delivery 2. A digital nomad outside a Berawa coworking cafe gets a black Victory.

• KOMANG: Way cheaper. And you'll never see a petrol queue again.
• NOMAD: Monthly works out cheaper, right? I'm here till March.
• SYSTEM: [RENTALS: 2 / 3]

PANEL 13. Delivery 3. A villa with a pool. A little boy crouches in front of a white Athena. Three close-up insets follow.

• BOY: Where's the noise?
• KOMANG: It doesn't make one. Your mum can sleep in.
• MOTHER (laughing): Ha! Sold.
• SYSTEM: [RENTALS: 3 / 3]

PANEL 14. Back at the guild. Komang, sweaty, thumbs up.

• CAPTION: 9:52 AM. Back at the guild.
• SFX: TING!
• SYSTEM (blue): ✓ TRIAL COMPLETE · Rentals: 3 / 3 · Standard: PASSED · Time: 09:52
• DEWA (inset): Not bad. Now choose.

PANEL 15. Three bikes in a row: a white Athena, a red Victory, a grey Athena. The red Victory glows brightest.

• SYSTEM (gold): [THE PEOPLE HAVE CHOSEN.]
• KOMANG (thought): ...The people?

PANEL 16. Full page. Komang's awakening on the red Victory, a fiery orange aura.

• SFX: VRMMMM!!
• SYSTEM (orange): ! CLASS CHANGE · New class: PATHFINDER
• SYSTEM (orange): PASSIVE SKILL · Knows every gang on the island.

PANEL 17. Quiet beat. Komang looks back at his father's rusty bike outside. Arya's hand on his shoulder.

• KOMANG: That was my bapak's bike.
• KOMANG: I'll keep it. I'm just... done pushing it.
• CAPTION: Arya doesn't say anything. He doesn't need to.

PANEL 18. Arya (olive Athena) and Komang (red Victory) ride side by side through the rice fields, a volcano behind them.

• SFX: VMMM... VMMM...
• KOMANG (shouting): Why is it so quiet?!
• ARYA: Now you know.

PANEL 19. Evening at the guild. A WhatsApp booking arrives on the Werigo phone.

• CHAT: "Hi! Can we get 2 bikes for 7 days from tomorrow? We're staying in Canggu. My boyfriend wants the big one. Chloe"
• DEWA: Tourists. Seven days.
• SYSTEM (gold): [VISITOR SIGNAL DETECTED: 2]

PANEL 20 · CLIFFHANGER. Earlier that day. A petrol station in Canggu. Chloe, sunburnt and sweating, waits in a long queue on a rented petrol scooter, exhaust fumes all around.

• CHLOE: Welcome to paradise, I guess.
