WERIGO SAGA Episode 3: The Raid

SPLASH. Three riders seen from behind on a cliff at Uluwatu, facing a giant storm with an emerald and pink rift in the sky.

• SYSTEM (pink): [RAID ALERT: ULUWATU]
• CAPTION: They say every few months, something big hits the island.
• CAPTION: The System calls it a raid.

Title card. EPISODE 3 · THE RAID.

• CAPTION: Friday. 7:15 AM.

PANEL 1. The warung. Komang leans across the table, teasing. Arya flustered.

• KOMANG (shouting): Uluwatu? Tonight? With a girl?!
• ARYA: It's not like that. It's... work.

PANEL 2. Close-up. Komang, suspicious.

• KOMANG: Since when do you work at night, hah?
• KOMANG (thought): Something is weird about that bike. I'm finding out.
• ARYA (thought): I can't tell him. He'd think I've lost it.
• SYSTEM: ! RAID NOTICE · Location: Uluwatu · Time: today, 17:00 · Party size: 3 · Difficulty: ???

PANEL 3. Arya rides up the cliff road to the Bukit. A purple storm front ahead.

• CAPTION: 4:20 PM. The road south.
• ARYA (thought): The sky looks... wrong.

PANEL 4. A clifftop temple gate. Sekar leans on her pink Athena. Dewa stands by a grey EdPower. Arya arrives.

• SEKAR: You're late, rookie.
• DEWA: So this is him?

PANEL 5. Close-up. Dewa, arms crossed.

• SYSTEM (gold): [DEWA] [RANK: A] [GUILD MASTER]
• DEWA: He looks like he hasn't slept in a year.
• ARYA: I have, actually. First time in years.

PANEL 6. Close-up. Sekar.

• SYSTEM (pink): [SEKAR] [RANK: C]
• SEKAR: He helped a kid with a fever for zero reward. I told you.
• DEWA: ...Hm.

PANEL 7. A real Wedison SuperCharge site on the clifftop: steel canopy with the green "WEDISON SUPERCHARGE" header, two charging piles (grey box on a white pole, WEDISON logo on top, dark glass screen, black cables both sides, green sticker), green parking bays. The olive Athena is already plugged in on its left inner front panel; the grey EdPower is parked next to the pile, not plugged in yet. Dewa holds his phone to the pile screen.

• DEWA: Top up first. Fifteen minutes. Then we ride.
• SYSTEM: [WEDISON SUPERCHARGE: 10 TO 80% IN 15 MIN]

PANEL 8. Close-up from the seat. Arya pushes the white charging gun into the charging port on the LEFT side of his Athena's inner front panel, low under the handlebar by his left knee. (Athena and Victory: port on the left inner front panel. EdPower: port on top of the centre tunnel in front of the seat, like the fuel lid on an NMAX.)

• CAPTION: Step one. Gun in the port.
• SFX: KLAK.
• ARYA: Like this?

PANEL 8b. Close-up from above. Dewa flips open the small lid on top of his EdPower's centre tunnel, in front of the seat (where the fuel lid sits on an NMAX), and pushes the gun in.

• DEWA: Athena: left side, under the bars.
• DEWA: EdPower: the lid on the tunnel, in front of the seat.
• SFX: KLAK.

PANEL 9. Over Dewa's shoulder. The pile screen shows a QR code for gun A. He scans it with his phone.

• CAPTION: Step two. Scan the QR on the pile with the Wedison SuperCharge app.
• DEWA: Then pay with QRIS. That's it.

PANEL 10. • SEKAR: Stop at 95. The battery lives longer.
• DEWA: The app does it for you anyway.
• ARYA: Why are we all on electric bikes?
• DEWA: You'll see in about ten minutes.

PANEL 12. Full page. The storm vortex over the cliffs, lightning.

• SFX: KRAKOOOM!!
• RAID BOSS: THE BUKIT STORM · 100%
• SYSTEM (red): ! RAID START · Roads flooding. Petrol stations shut. Objective: 40 medical kits to Pecatu clinic before the cliff road closes. Time: 45:00

PANEL 13. A petrol station shut in the storm, riders pushing dead petrol bikes.

• CAPTION: Meanwhile, on the main road.
• RIDER (shouting): Pumps are off!! I'm out of petrol!
• DEWA: Every petrol station on the Bukit just shut down. No fuel, no engines. We charged up here. We're still moving.

PANEL 14. Village square in the rain. The three strap medical boxes onto their bikes.

• SYSTEM: [PARTY FORMED: DEWA / SEKAR / ARYA]

PANEL 15. Full page. The three ride in V formation along the cliff road, gold, emerald and pink trails.

• SFX: VMMMMMMM
• RAID BOSS: 84% · SYSTEM: [KITS DELIVERED: 12 / 40] [TIME LEFT: 29:40]

PANEL 16. A steep hill road turned into a stream.

• CAPTION: The cliff road is blocked. The only way is up.
• ARYA: That hill is a waterfall!
• SYSTEM (gold): [SKILL ACTIVE: TITAN TORQUE]
• DEWA (shouting): Stay on my line!!

PANEL 17. A cry through the rain.

• SFX: TOLONG!! HELP!!
• ARYA: ...That voice.

PANEL 18. Komang stuck on a flooded road, pushing his dead petrol bike.

• ARYA (shouting): Komang?!
• KOMANG: I followed you... sorry... the bike died...

PANEL 19. A red warning.

• SYSTEM (red): ! WARNING · Detour will cost 6 minutes. Raid timer: 11:58. Raid failure risk: HIGH.
• DEWA: Leave him! The clinic can't wait!
• ARYA (thought): Forty people waiting. One friend drowning.

PANEL 20. Close-up. Arya, decided.

• ARYA: He's my best friend.
• ARYA: Go. I'm not leaving him.

PANEL 21. Sekar straps the extra boxes onto her pink Athena.

• DEWA: ...Tch. Sekar, take his boxes.
• SEKAR: Already on it.

PANEL 22. Full page. Arya rides with Komang on the back, holding a box, emerald aura.

• SFX: VMMMMM!!
• ARYA: Hold the box. Don't let go.
• KOMANG: H-how do you still have power tonight?!
• SYSTEM: [TIME LEFT: 02:14]

PANEL 23. The clinic. Nurses rush out for the boxes.

• NURSE: They made it!!
• RAID BOSS: 0% · SYSTEM: RAID CLEAR · Kits delivered: 40 / 40 · Time left: 00:37

PANEL 24.

• SYSTEM: ! HIDDEN QUEST COMPLETE · NO ONE LEFT BEHIND · Condition: choose a life over the reward while Kindness is unlocked.
• SFX: TING!
• SYSTEM: ! UNIQUE SKILL UNLOCKED · ???

PANEL 25. Full page. A pillar of emerald light rises from Arya and his Athena.

• DEWA: A unique skill? On his first raid?!
• DEWA (thought): It took me three years...

PANEL 26. Sunrise. The four friends sit on the cliff edge, bikes parked behind.

• CAPTION: 5:52 AM. The storm is gone.
• DEWA: Welcome to the guild, rookie.
• SEKAR: You were reckless. ...And right.
• ARYA: Wait. What guild? What is happening?!

PANEL 27. That night. Komang's garage. He stares at his muddy petrol bike.

• KOMANG (thought): A bike that doesn't drown. A bike that doesn't die. ...Why not me?
• SFX: TING.
• SYSTEM (blue): ! CANDIDATE DETECTED · Name: KOMANG · Awakening: PENDING
